چکیده
When the fading channels are encountered during data communication, errors likely to occur at receiving end due multipath propagation. Researchers have been consistently striving develop Error Correction Schemes that can effectively handle these and ensure error-free reception receiver end. Of particular interest Forward be implemented transmitter itself. However, implementation of error correction coding through schemes incurs additional costs in terms bandwidth expansion, as extra bits need added facilitate correction. Fortunately, there exists one scheme called Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM), which addresses this issue. TCM selects a modulation based on rate convolutional scheme. technique has limitations correcting number errors, leading development Turbo Coding. This utilizes two coders transmitter, arranged either serial or parallel configuration, suitable decoder receiver. A design Coding presented paper, employs having 2/3, serially concatenated providing an effective 4/9. turbo is then applied order preserve bandwidth. Therefore, if using 8-QAM after coding, 4/9, will 512-QAM. The simulations conducted MATLAB capabilities designed comparison with constituent encoder also compared. It observed Rician channel conditions, Scheme provides approximately 5 dB gain compared

Turbo trellis coded modulation for transform domain distributed video coding
A transform domain distributed video coding (DVC) codec is proposed using turbo trellis coded modulation (TTCM). TTCM symbols are generated at the DVC decoder using the side information and the parity bits received from the DVC encoder. These generated symbols are used at the TTCM-based DVC decoder to decode the bit stream. Simulation results show that a significant rate-distortion performance ...

| In this paper, we design parallel concatenated convolutional codes (PCCCs) for trellis coded modulation (TCM) over the following discrete two-dimensional (2D) channels: (a) a slow-fading Rayleigh channel with discrete carrier tracking by a phase locked loop (PLL), where the PLL signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is proportional to the fading amplitude squared; (b) an additive white Gaussian noise (A...

We describe a multilayered video transport scheme for wireless channels capable of adapting to channel conditions in order to maximize end-to-end quality of service (QoS). This scheme combines a scalable H.263+ video source coder with unequal error protection (UEP) across layers. The UEP is achieved by employing different channel codes together with amultiresolutionmodulation approach to transp...
متن کاملSerial Turbo Trellis Coded Modulation with Rate-1 Inner Code
The main objective of this paper is to develop new, low complexity turbo codes suitable for bandwidth and power limited systems, for very low bit and word error rate requirements. Motivated by the structure of recently discovered low complexity codes such as Repeat-Accumulate (RA) codes with low density parity check matrix, we extend the structure to high-level modulations such as SPSK, and 16Q...
